We regret that it was necessary to remove the Townsites Discussion Forum. The Forum Charter explicitly lists the 'Do's and Dont's' of the facility and unfortunately, regular breaches of these rules by a number of users have left us with no alternative. Unreasonable amounts of time had to be spent in moderating the site, removing potentially libelous material and dealing with complaints from people and businesses who were maligned by a small unrepresentative minority of users. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who used this forum constructively in the past number of years and we apologise to them for having to remove this facility from our website.
