Kildare County Council’s Library Service Announces New eService
Kildare County Council’s Library Service is delighted to announce that Libby, the award-winning reading app, is now available to members of Kildare Libraries. Readers with a valid library membership card can borrow and enjoy eBooks and eAudiobooks immediately through the app.
The collection includes bestselling authors, new releases, literary fiction, romance, mystery, children's books, business titles, health and wellbeing resources, and much more. Books are automatically returned at the end of the lending period and titles can also be downloaded for offline reading or listening.
“We are delighted to introduce Libby as a new eService for members of Kildare Libraries," said Gillian Allen, County Librarian, Kildare County Council; "Libby makes it easier than ever for people to access books and audiobooks wherever they are, whether at home or on the go. We look forward to welcoming new users to the platform and helping readers of all ages discover the convenience of borrowing from the library digitally, free of charge."
Libby can be downloaded from OverDrive and is also accessible through Kildare Library Service at https://kildarecoco.ie/library/eservices/
