Extension of Temporary Road Closure
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the DECISION of Kildare County Council to EXTEND the duration of the closure as detailed below of the following road in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994:

Road Closure extended to Friday, 26 September 2025.
The closure is required to facilitate ESB ducting for Pickering Forest 38kV Solar Farm.

- R405 – R403 – R406 – L5065
- R403 – R406 – L5065
Northbound traffic travelling on the R449 should continue straight until the junction with R405 and turn right. Continue until the junction with Main St. and turn right. Continue along the R405/R403 Clane Road until the junction with R449. Continue until the roundabout and take the last exit and continue along the R406 until the right turn for the L5065.
Southbound traffic travelling on the R449 should continue until the roundabout and take the last exit and continue along the R406 until the right turn for the L5065.
